摘要: Abstract This work carried out a non-destructive evaluation of grain size influence on the mechanical properties CuAlBe shape memory alloy with and without refiners. Ultrasonic signal processing, considering only longitudinal velocity, was used for evaluation. Therefore, average modulus elasticity values found 45.7 GPa 57.3 GPa refiners, respectively. The corresponding obtained by conventional tensile testing were equal to 43.2 GPa 52.6 GPa, Additionally verified that addition refiners increases stress but has slight effect alloy’s ductility. Thus, consequently ultrasonic as well strain are fully dependent its size. analysis shows this is an excellent sound, vibration wave absorber, presenting high attenuation coefficient related scattering through grains. In addition, processing method here confirms main advantages fastness reliability.
