摘要: Background and Objective: The premenstrual syndrome (PMS) is a series of physical, mental, behavioral symptoms with various severities, disturbs social personal relationships. appears during luteal phase the menstrual cycle common disorder reproductive age. Different treatments have been introduced for due to its unknown complicated causes. Vitamin B1 (Thiamin) may reduce through affecting performance coenzymes in metabolism carbohydrates main branch amino acid that plays an important role appearance physical mental PMS. first water-soluble discovered vitamin. As it effective neural activity muscle tonus different body activities, including hematopoiesis, carbohydrates, activities central nervous system neuromuscular system, etc., can be this dysmenorrhea resulting from uterine muscular contraction. There are no enough studies research on effect vitamin PMS, therefore, study was conducted determine PMS students residing at dormitories Jahrom University Medical Sciences 2013. Methods: In double-blind placebo-controlled clinical trial, 80 were divided randomly into two groups, placebo. severity cycles, before intervention intervention, recorded by students. data collected using information collection form, provisional diagnosis daily status record Beck Depression Inventory. analyzed descriptive inferential statistics.
