摘要: Summary There are two general ways in which a diagnosis of infection by Helicobacter pylori can be made: using either an invasive or non-invasive procedure. The procedures involve endoscopy and biopsy. A biopsy is essential because often the mucosa may appear macroscopically normal but nevertheless inflamed. obtained histological examination, culture, polymerase chain reaction detection presence urease activity material. The tests that used to diagnose serology, labelled metabolic products urea hydrolysis breath (13CO2, 14CO2), urine blood, H, antigen stool specimen. At present no single test relied upon detect definitely colonization H. pylori, combination recommended if this feasible. choice not straightforward vary according clinical condition local expertise.
