摘要: Abstract We have studied the effect of modafinil and amphetamine, two waking drugs, on sleep-wake cycle Sprague-Dawley rat. Both (64 or 128 mg/kg) amphetamine (2.5 5 cause a dose dependent increase in wakefulness. However, wakefulness is followed by paradoxical sleep rebound injection day, whereas does not produce this effect. In modafinil-treated rats, pattern post-injection day similar to that controls, while amphetamine-treated rats modified.
