摘要: This study addresses a U-shaped assembly line staffed by partially cross-trained workers with skill chaining. When worker is absent, the performance of production system must become worse. Cross-trained can improve replacement. The present paper proposes new training policy called workload-balanced chaining for in line. A mixed integer quadratic programming (MIQP) model used to realize this assigning be particular stations. numerical examples are developed compare traditional policy. Some managerial insights derived from analysis experiments.
