摘要: A sample of 177 currently used Australian light duty vehicles have been dynamometer tested and averaged vehicle maps fuel consumption emissions are presented. These show emission rates as a function velocity acceleration. The use diagnostic tool to characterise behaviour is also demonstrated. two–parameter power demand model developed which predicts road (or dynamometer) consumption, hydrocarbon oxides nitrogen for any desired profile. For trips moderate length (> 10 km) the usage estimates correct within 2 per cent. Short trip (I km or less) 9 correction matrix presented predict short (100m less). This adjusts basic inefficiencies at low speed due gear automatic transmission losses.
