摘要: This chapter describes the application of Pontryagin’s Maximum Principle and Dynamic Programming for vehicle drivingwith minimum fuel consumption. The focus is on minimum-fuel accelerations. For consumption modeling, a six-parameter polynomial approximation proposed. With Principle, this model yields optimal accelerations with linearly decreasing acceleration as function velocity. linear behavior also observed in real traffic situations by other researchers. implemented backward recursion specially chosen distance grid. grid enables calculation realistic gear shifting behaviour during Gear dynamics are taken into account.
