摘要: OBJECTIVES To investigate the long term consequences of regressed aneurysms after Kawasaki disease, using follow up coronary angiography; to assess vascular wall morphology at site by intravascular ultrasound imaging; and evaluate function affected vessels intracoronary infusions acetylcholine isosorbide dinitrate. DESIGN 33 patients were studied, 27 with previous disease six congenital heart disease. All followed for more than 10 years from onset. The comprised four groups: group 1 included 13 a total 23 sites large sized (⩾ 4 mm) aneurysms; 2 22 small ( RESULTS Coronary angiography in all groups 3 was normal, no stenoses irregularity arterial wall. However, imaging showed various degrees intimal thickening. In 2, there significantly constriction acetylcholine, poorer dilatation dinitrate or 4 (each p  CONCLUSIONS There is evidence persisting abnormal dysfunction These should be counselled avoid potential risk factors atherosclerosis, needed into adult life.
