摘要: Background: In this multicenter study, we aimed to compare concurrent 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography/computed tomography (FDG PET/CT) and bone scan results of breast cancer patient. Patients Methods: 162 patients with (158 female, 4 male; mean age 50.6 years) were included in the study. FDG PET/CT examination was performed all patients, scintigraphy 68 patients. The compared. Results: 132 operated on because cancer. 89 had metastasis, recurrent disease according PET/ CT results. Metastatic sites order frequency lymph nodes, bone, lung, liver, adrenal gland, local skin or muscle, brain, peritoneum (peritonitis carcinomatosa). sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, negative positive predictive value versus 96 vs. 100%, 100 98%, 83%, 90 vs.100%, respectively. Conclusion: Although 2 modalities concordance each other, 5 (21%) cases, could not show metastasis which detected scintigraphy. Hence, superior determination derived from However, should be considered for soft tissue metastasis.
