摘要: Expression of myelin P0 protein by myelinating Schwann cellsin vivo is dependent on axonal influences. This report describes gene expression during development rat sciatic nerve and spinal roots using Northern blotting,in situ hybridization immunohistochemistry. We demonstrate that: (1) the appearance mRNA in cells begins prenatally, at day 18 post-fertilization (E18); (2) have essentially identical developmental profiles, are expressed that many days prior to formation; (3) initial greatest periphery bundles contact with motor axons; (4) decline maturation accompanied a sharp message levels most cells, but small subpopulation these continue synthesize very high mRNA. study provides data distribution PNS adds further insights into influences controlling cell behaviour myelination PNS.
