摘要: This paper presents a short review on moisture induced damage in asphalt mixtures. Moisture is one of the most common causes pavement distress that results loss strength, stripping, raveling, fatigue and permanent deformation. Different mechanisms have been used to explain process pavements. However, mechanism takes place due interaction several different processes. The applicability single test method evaluate impractical wide range materials conditions. Therefore, new laboratory based testing procedure analysis protocol required, with aim simultaneously consider effects both traffic impact damage. proper material design, efficient construction methods, reliable techniques well planned highway surface subsurface drainage systems may lead towards sustainable sufficiently durable resist Although considerable advances concerning subject reported, yet there still need address certain issues are actually involved mixture susceptibility.
