摘要: Individuals with developmental amnesia experience compromised development of episodic memory for details personal life events, believed to relate changes the hippocampus after birth. Here we report very rare discovery aplasia mammillary bodies, hypogenesis fornix, and abnormal hippocampal shape orientation in H.C., a well-documented case selectively who is subject numerous published empirical articles. These anatomical abnormalities are highly suggestive disrupted extended system early gestation, despite an original diagnosis assumed perinatal hypoxia. findings provide unique window into normal function fornices, related anterior nuclei thalamus bilaterally. The results also encourage re-examination pathological basis other cases reported literature.
