摘要: Plant cells secrete diverse sets of constitutively- and conditionally-expressed proteins under various environmental developmental states. Secreted protein populations, or secretomes have multiple functions, including defense responses, signaling, metabolic processes, regulation. To identify genes encoding secreted that function in fruit development ripening, a yeast secretion trap (YST) screen was employed using pepper (Capsicum annuum) cDNAs. The YST revealed 80 fruit-related (CaPFRs) cell wall proteins, several which not been previously described. Transient GFP-fusion assay an planta were used to validate the encoded by selected clones. In addition, RNA gel blot analyses provided further insights into their expression regulation during ripening. Integrating our data, we conclude provides valuable functional genomics tool for identification substantial numbers novel plant are associated with biological
