摘要: Secreted and plasma membrane proteins play crucial roles in a variety of physiological developmental processes multicellular organisms. Systematic cloning the genes encoding these is therefore general interest. An effective method trapping signal sequences was first described by Tashiro et al. (1993), similar yet more efficient reported Klein (1996) Jacobs (1997). In this study, we carried out latter yeast-based sequence trap to clone from Arabidopsis thaliana secreted proteins. Of 144 sequenced cDNA clones, 18% are identical previously cloned genes, 12% homologous identified various organisms, 46% novel. All isolated or either proteins, remaining novel appear contain functional based on computer-aided analysis. The full-length clones one gene another were sequenced. deduced amino acid suggest that former encodes protein, type 1 protein. These results indicate useful for isolation plant
