摘要: An inhibitive assay for metals using a bacterial respiratory system is presented. The based on the ability of bacteria to reduce water soluble tetrazolium dye (MTT). isolate was tentatively identified as Bacillus sp. strain Khayat. sp MTT sensitive towards Hg2+, Cu2+, Ag2+, Cd2+ and Zn2+ with concentration toxicant giving 50% inhibition (IC50) values at 0.046, 0.057, 0.044, 0.857 1.716 mg/L, respectively. A Limit Detection (LOD) value 0.001 mg/L Hg2+ Cu2+ while 0.003, 0.067 0.201 respectively Zn2+. This xenobiotics pesticide tolerance can be completed within 20 min. Field test identify polluted sample from Bukit Tinggi Industrial Estate, Penang proved that sp-based in toxic response.
