摘要: An analysis of the flux decline encountered during ultrafiltration (UF) in a batch cell is presented by including combined influence osmotic pressure and gel layer. A predictive model for unstirred stirred UF processes developed unifying layer models. experiments were performed with polymeric solutes (PEG, dextran PVA) protein (BSA), ranging widely molecular weights physico-chemical properties, under various operating conditions (pressure, solution pH, stirrer speed). The present unified predictions match closely experimental behaviour all cases, while individual models are found to be inadequate.
