摘要: In this study, compressible mixing layers between two streams of the same gas as well dissimilar gases are computed using a Reynolds stress closure model. The model embodies new form mean strain part pressure correlation which accounts for non-vanishing fluctuating dilatation in flows. effects dissipation also included by modifying incompressible sink term equation. Application shows good agreement with measured spreading rate and turbulent stresses.
