摘要: OBJECTIVES To examine the co-expression of CD19, CD45, CD38, CD56, and CD138 molecules in plasma cells bone marrow (BM) aspirates their relation with BM infiltration, treatment patients multiple myeloma by flow cytometry. METHODS Forty aspirate samples were assessed from 40 at diagnosis on follow-up Medical Oncology Department, Cukurova University, Balcali Hospital, Turkey, between 2002 2004. The mean age was 56.83 +/- 9.1 male:female ratio 2.6. All received least 4 courses VAD(vincristine, adriamycin, dexamethasone) regimens 20 them also treated high dose melphalan peripheral autologous stem cell transplantation. median period 19.1 22.7 months. RESULTS Using light microscopy smears stained hematoxylin eosin follow up classified into one 3 categories, complete remission (CR) ( 5% 30%). According to infiltration 23 evaluated CR, 2 PR 15 EI. value CD19 6.01 9.5%, CD56 = 9.9 6.8%, 8.6 5.6%, CD45 84.2 22.3% CD38 59.5 25.4%. cytometric analyses revealed that only expression significantly high. We correlated each parametric found statistically significant relations. independent variables other a (p=0.005). defined groups whether transplantation or not compared them, which (p=0.02). CONCLUSIONS We suggest expressed mainly may have role generation be considered for minimal residual disease after patients.
