摘要: In the spermatogenic cell line GC-2, dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate (DHEAS), activates Src/Ras/c-Raf/Erk1/2/CREB(ATF-1) signaling cascade. Since DHEAS is present in gonads, and since spermatogenesis maturation of spermatogonia to haploid spermatozoa requires activation Erk1/2, triggering these events by might have physiological relevance. Sertoli TM4, DHEAS-induces CREB, ATF-1, stimulates expression claudin-3 claudin-5 augments transepithelial resistance, indicating formation tight junctions between adjacent cells. Thus, influencing dynamics at blood-testis barrier, which protects germ cells from immune system, play a crucial role regulation maintenance male fertility. bEnd.3 brain-derived endothelial cells, zonula occludens-1 promotes junction neighboring blood-brain barrier brain harmful factors If supports integrity also vivo, current findings lead new strategies for prevention or treatment neurological disorders associated with defects.
