摘要: Summary A nationwide survey in July and August 2007 employed a representative sample of Chinese sturgeon farms from 2002–2006/2007, including data previous surveys official statistics dating back to 1998, showing that the development China’s aquaculture has progressed steadily past few years. Acipenser baerii Amur hybrids (Acipenser schrenckii × Huso dauricus) have become dominant cultured species, accounting for 80% total production. Production centers moved southeastern coast towards midwestern inland provinces, where cold freshwater resources are available abundance. The paper presents production trends as well price structure commercial fish/meat juveniles various provinces also considers import export products, fertilized eggs fingerlings. Results show that: (i) hatcheries risen only slightly during period; (ii) number larvae obtained wild gradually declines each year; (iii) drastically declined between 1998 2002, but remained stable 2002 2007; (iv) 83 surveyed was almost 2007. Major problems influencing sustainable were identified, including: insufficient domestic supply ban use A. sinensis; disorganized hybridization; potential threat genetics natural stocks Yangtze River; diseases originating environmental pollution poor-quality fish feed; (v) limited markets; (vi) low volume due lack intensive processing; (vii) organizational industry.
