摘要: Abstract We previously reported a low molecular weight antiplasmin present in human platelets and plasma. This material as isolated by ultrafiltration was heterogeneous. The fraction showing maximum inhibition has been further purified countercurrent distribution. N-terminal residue of this inhibitor is alanine. Amino acid analysis showed glycine to be the predominant residue, no basic amino detected. Kinetic studies suggested competitive plasmin via enzyme-inhibitor complex formation.
