摘要: Abstract Early Mesozoic olivine-normative diabase dikes of eastern North America (‘ENA’ dikes) are resolved into two fundamentally different groups. Data from the first group define continuous variation primary tholeiitic parental compositions to calc-alkaline (high-alumina) fractionation products. second trends; one toward alkalic indicative mantle and another trend quartz-tholeiitic representative crustal fractionation. Both occupy NW-trending fractures in Carolinas Georgia – radial a hot spot proposed for Blake Plateau Senegal basin conjugate margin.
