Extreme-ultraviolet spectral purity and magnetic ion debris mitigation by use of low-density tin targets.

摘要: We investigate the extreme-ultraviolet (EUV) emission from targets that contain tin as an impurity and advantages of using these for ion debris mitigation by use a magnetic field. The EUV spectral features were characterized transmission grating spectrograph. in-band energy was measured with calorimeter absolute calibration. flux coming plume Faraday cup. Our studies indicate 0.5% Sn density is necessary to obtain conversion efficiency very close full-density Sn. Sn-doped low-Z provides narrower unresolved transition array facilitates better control energetic ions in presence moderate field 0.64 T.
