Analyzing Tag Semantics Across Collaborative Tagging Systems

摘要: The objective of our group was to exploit state-of-the-art Information Retrieval methods for ?nding associations and dependencies between tags, capturing representing differences in tagging behavior vocabulary various folksonomies, with the overall aim better understand semantics tags process. Therefore we analyze semantic content Flickr Delicious folksonomies. We ?nd that: tag context similarity leads meaningful results Flickr, despite its narrow folksonomy character; comparison across shows little overlap, being associated more visual aspects rather than technological as it seems be Delicious; there are regions tag-tag space, provided cosine metric, that characterized by high density; order inside a post has relevance.
