Semantics discovery in social tagging systems: A review

摘要: Web 2.0 has brought many collaborative and novel applications which transformed the web as a medium resulted in its exponential growth. Tagging systems are one of these killer applications. Tags free-form but represent link between objective information users' cognitive information. However, tags have ambiguity problem reducing precision. Hence search retrieval pose challenge on folksonomy flat, unstructured, non-hierarchical organization with unsupervised vocabulary. We present brief survey different approaches for adding semantics folksonomies thus bringing structure precision navigation. did comparative analysis to estimate significance each source semantics.
