摘要: MicroRNAs are a group of small non-coding RNAs approximately 22 nucleotides in length. Recent work has shown differential expression mature microRNAs human cancers. We characterized the alteration select primary peritoneal carcinoma relative to matched cases ovarian serous carcinoma. MicroRNA was analysed using semi-quantitative stem-loop RT-PCR on set 34 formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded samples. Protein p53 and bcl-2 quantified corresponding tissue microarray. provide definitive evidence that there is downregulation tumours meeting Gynaecological Oncology Group criteria for Specifically, we show decreased miR-195 miR-497 from microRNA cluster site at chromosome 17p13.1 may have potential roles as tumour-suppressor genes tumourigenesis.
