摘要: Abstract Background Seven to ten days after a first dose of measles-containing vaccine (MCV; i.e., MMR or MMRV), children have elevated fever risk which can be associated with febrile seizures. This study investigated individual and familial factors 7–10 days MCV. Methods Retrospective cohort among who were 2 multivariable logistic regression analyses. Results Among 946,806 vaccinated MCV, we identified 7480 (0.8%) MCV-associated visits. Compared without more likely received MMRV than (OR 1.3 95% CI 1.2, 1.5), had medically attended both following previous vaccines 1.1, 1.6) at any other time 1.7 1.6, 1.8), least 1 prior seizure 2.2 1.7, 2.7), >3 medical visits within the 6 months before MCV 1.8). In families multiple MCV-immunized children, adjusting for healthcare seeking behavior care fever, those whose siblings also 3.5 2.5, 4.8). Discussion Children medically-attended fevers seizures during year life increased measles vaccine. After propensity seek care, still clustered families, suggesting possible genetic basis susceptibility developing due vaccines.
