摘要: Aims To assess the immunoreactivity of malignant mesotheliomas for N- and E-cadherins, hepatocyte growth factor/scatter factor (HGF/SF) tyrosine kinase receptors, met erbB-2. Methods results Pleural were stained using a standard indirect immunoperoxidase method applied to paraffin sections. Malignant immunoreactive N-cadherin (26/29; 90%), (29/29; 100%) erbB-2 (28/29; 97%). Focal was present E-cadherin in epithelioid or mixed tumours (14/25; 56%), HGF/SF (9/24; 38%). Conclusions Expression supports diagnosis mesothelioma use appropriate antibodies would be useful addition diagnostic antibody panel. staining does not exclude mesothelioma. Signalling pathways mediated via may play role spread mesotheliomas.
