摘要: Galling insects have been recommended as an excellent tool to evaluate environmental changes and habitat quality. In this study, we assessed the richness of gall morphospecies, well host-plant abundance, detect in six patches secondary Atlantic Forest Northeast Brazil. The forest varied age (between 25 42 yrs) size. each patch, plants between 1 3 meters tall were evaluated for a period one hour, totaling hours. A total 50 morphospecies found on 37 species (88 plant individuals). We identified 27 (72%) belonging 19 families. Richness abundance not significantly affected by size patch. However, increased percentage shade-tolerant trees increased. Considering that differences observed younger older patches, developed relatively short time recovery (c. 18 yrs), some occurred exclusively study showed gall-inducing are good evaluating successional gradient. use bioindicators restoration conservation programs is only opportunity advance type but also useful application, at local regional scales, monitor progress forests.
