摘要: Epidemiologic findings concerning the association between hsa-mir-499 rs3746444 A>G polymorphism and cancer risk have yielded mixed results. We aimed to investigate by performing a meta-analysis of all available studies. searched PubMed EMBASE for studies published up November 2014, using odds ratios (ORs) with 95% confidence intervals (CIs) assess strength any association. The Benjamini- Hochberg (BH) method was used correct p values multiple comparisons. included 39 studies, including 14,136 cases 16,937 controls. results overall suggested borderline susceptibility (AG+GG vs. AA: OR=1.15, CI= 1.04-1.26, corrected value=0.04). After removing not conforming Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium (HWE), however, this disappeared vs OR=1.18, CI=1.03-1.34, value=0.21). When stratified analysis ethnicity, type or HWE in controls, although some associations were detected, these no longer existed after adjustment BH method. In conclusion, our suggests that is associated based on current evidence.
