摘要: Abstract Although there is an established regulatory programme for recycling of solid wastes in developed countries, improper disposal methods are still broadly adapted developing countries. Turkey, as economically country, has a number open dumps operation. This creates great risk the environment and also human health. However, Turkey's accession to European Union requires compliance with legislation therefore currently increasing pressure on government authorities develop sustainable approach (particularly focusing plastics) composting activities integrate strategies aiming at pursuing society Turkey. In this respect, aim paper (1) provide review existing situation related municipal waste management system Turkey (2) identify gaps weaknesses particularly plastics. will aid Turkish cities form their strategy by promoting countries which dealing similar problems mechanism.
