摘要: Children with medical complexity (CMC) have a wide range of long term health problems and disabilities that an adverse impact on their quality life. They high levels family identified care needs utilisation. There is no Australian literature the experiences providers working in tertiary, secondary primary system, whilst managing CMC. This information essential to inform design integrated systems for these children. We address this knowledge gap by exploring perceptions provision CMC aged 0 18 years. A qualitative research study was undertaken. Stakeholder forums, group individual depth interviews were undertaken using semi-structured interview guide. One hundred three took part across 3 local districts, tertiary paediatric hospital network, organisations. Providers expressed concern regarding capacity negotiate which impacted children psychosocial families. Lack provider terms skills, time availability manage also problem. These issues occurred within system had impaired fragmentation limited communication among providers. When designing models CMC, it understand challenges experienced requires adequate training providers, additional resources coordination care, improved services, timely access parents
