摘要: Recent studies in humans have highlighted the importance of a distinct cellular entity, plasmacytoid dendritic cell (PDC). To identify genes for which expression is restricted to human PDCs, cDNA subtraction technique was applied using from activated monocyte-derived DCs (MDDCs) as competitor. In 650 sequences analyzed, 25% were B-cell transcripts. We also found lymphoid-related genes, immunoglobulinlike transcript 7 (ILT7), granzyme B (GrB), Spi-B, and receptor tyrosine kinase Eph-B1. Granzyme up-regulated on activation, protein detected only PDCs. Eph-B1 expressed cytoplasm nuclei PDCs MDDCs, respectively. Interestingly, several novel molecules been identified that predicted encode type 2 transmembrane (BRI(3)), putative cytokine (C-15, cysteine-rich-secreted protein), 1 leucine-rich repeat (MAPA). The identification provides new insights into their function origin.
