摘要: Abstract An Er3+/Yb3+ co-doped bismuthate (Bi2O3-B2O3-CaO) glass was prepared by melt quenching method. The samples were analyzed X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR), absorption and emission spectroscopy. Judd-Ofelt parameters (Ωλ) determined from the intensity of band to calculate radiation parameters, such as lifetime (τrad), transition probability (Arad) branching ratio (βJJ′) 4I13/2 laser conversion Er3+ ions. effective bandwidth (ΔλP), stimulated cross section (σse) gain (σse × Δλp) on spectra, optimum doping concentration Er2O3 0.5 mol%. present work indicates that bismuth calcium borate can be promising materials for solid state NIR lasers fiber amplifiers.
