摘要: In a retrospective study we evaluated one year use of nasal continuous positive pressure in our intensive care neonatal unit. One hundred and twelve newborns with mean gestational age 30.8 weeks were treated this technique: 41 early after birth for moderate respiratory; 71 later, either following extubation assisted ventilation, or as treatment apnoeas. The main adverse effects bowel gaseous distension delayed oral nutrition. Nasal airway reduced the duration intubation ventilation could be used more frequently first line respiratory distress.
