摘要: Sediment at the sediment‐water interface of natural and man‐made waterways forms an integral part ecosystem because it is affected by a continuous flux physical, chemical biological components between sediment, interstitial water overlying column. Aquatic sediments contain records past present urban rural runoff, discharges spills. In recent years sediment quality has received increasing attention following identification role as both sink for pollutants contaminant source with potential impacts on receiving waters.
