摘要: Diabetes mellitus is a metabolic disorder representing one of the main problems for global public health. The impairment control can influence periarticular tissue and other major risk factors limited joint mobility (LJM) also in young type 1 diabetic patients. LJM widespread phenomenon patients it often characterized by ankle stiffness. In particular, deficit may occur with onset disease; later, this tends to deteriorate presence poor glycemic control. We hypothesized mathematical model diabetes long-term effects, assuming that reduced affects according Gaussian function: requires some time developing reduction mobility, persists stable period, before fading out (in case has been recovered). A non-linear optimization estimated parameters obtaining best fit over set Results are good accordance empirical estimates: lack needs persist at least few months generating sensible effect, up year.
