摘要: Abstract Aims Evaluation of how ankle joint mobility (AJM) can be useful in the identification patients with diabetes at risk foot ulcer (FU). Methods Plantar and dorsal flexion were evaluated using an inclinometer 87 (54 type 2 33 1), 35 healthy sex- age-matched control subjects. Patients followed up for diagnosis FU over next 8 years subsequently, subdivided into: those without a history (18 1 2), who had detected before baseline evaluation (14 2) first ulceration by 8th year period (7 2). Results Aging caused significant reduction each movements investigated (p  Conclusions Diabetes aging reduce AJM although seems to plantar more specific extent. Reduced is mostly associated previous FU. The valid reliable scale that indicates which higher risk.
