摘要: Abstract Ammonium metavanadate yielded a dose-dependent increase in mutation frequency at the V79 hprt locus following 24-h exposure period serum-free F12 medium. Vanadate also increased of cells by salts-glucose medium, but these effects were not as striking, or dose-deequent they enhanced vartaining transfected bacterial gpt gene. These are known to be more responsive oxidative type mutations, and mutations involving deletions. Although absolute level was greater with ammonium metavanadate, so background, did exhibit an mutagenic response vanadate when compared wild-type cells. The results positive control potassium chromate, which exhibited frequency. induced DNA-protein crosslinks formation both Chines hamster ovary human MOLT4 cells, role relatively unrepaired genetic lesions produced chromate discussed.
