摘要: A white rust infected leaf of Brassica juncea var. Varuna bearing non-erumpent zoosporangial blisters was used as explant to grow a dual culture Albugo candida and on MS medium supplemented with NAA (1.0 mg/L), BAP biotin ascorbic acid (25.0 thiamin hydrochloride glycine (0.5 mg/L) casein hydrolysate mg/L). The host callus the pathogen established complete balance in culture. morphology mycelium, haustoria, zoosporangia, antheridia, oogonia oospores identical that intact plant. Oospore formation favoured over sporangia. germination by germ-tube evident. Pathogenicity test fungus further confirmed viability fungus. Rate growth faster than normal callus. Although grew substratum for short distance away from surface medium; it did not independently when connections severed. Growth influenced light quality, temperature, vitamins, carbohydrates amino acids medium. These differential responses can be future studies interactions breeding disease resistant plants.
