摘要: Cancer is essentially a genetic disease. Recent high-throughput mutational analyses of gene families in human colorectal, breast and lung cancer, myeloproliferative disorders, other tumor types have identified number kinases phosphatases that are mutated the cancer genome. This approach has been proven to be an efficient way catalog tumor-specific mutations cancers. Although there still some technical hurdles overcome, it not far-reaching goal perform genome-wide analysis all different types. Systematic cataloging genome only will lead new insights into mechanisms tumorigenesis, but also provide unprecedented opportunities design novel therapeutics for patients.
