摘要: The aim of the present study was to investigate whether survival-improving effect atorvastatin in sepsis is accompanied by a reduction tissue activation inflammatory pathways and, parallel, an improvement insulin signaling rats. Diffuse induced cecal ligation and puncture surgery (CLP) male Wistar Serum glucose cytokines levels were assessed 24 h after CLP. on survival septic animals investigated parallel with its modulators liver, muscle adipose tissue. Atorvastatin improves rats this marked sensitivity, characterized increase disappearance rate during tolerance test. Sepsis expression/activation TLR4 downstream JNK IKK/NF-κB activation, blunted insulin-induced tissue; reversed all these alterations decrease circulating TNF-α IL-6. In summary, demonstrates that treatment increased survival, significant upon improving peripheral tissues peritoneal-induced sepsis. suppression TLR-dependent pathway may play central role regulation insult.
