摘要: Oil palm biomass, namely empty fruit bunch and frond fiber, were pretreated using a planetary ball mill. Particle sizes crystallinity index values of the oil biomass significantly reduced with extended mill processing time. The treatment efficiency was evaluated by generation glucose, xylose, total sugar conversion yields from pretreatment process compared to amount sugars raw materials. Glucose xylose contents determined high-performance liquid chromatography. An increasing trend in glucose yield as well observed decreasing particle size index. fiber exhibited best material milling generated 87.0, 81.6, 85.4 %, respectively. In contrast, afforded 70.0 82.3 results obtained this study showed that mill-treated is suitable method for high xylose.
