摘要: This paper presents results of high-resolution three-dimensional wing shape measurements performed on free-flying barn owls in flapping flight. The applied measurement technique is introduced together with a moving camera set-up, allowing for an investigation the free flight birds high spatial and temporal resolution. Based surface data, methodology parameterizing profile along kinematics during has been developed. allowed description spanwise varying aerodynamic parameters (e.g. effective angles attack, camber, thickness) dependence phase. are discussed detail using data single flight, whereas comparison some kinematic obtained from different flights given too.
