摘要: Abstract : Five anesthetics were tested on subadult striped bass (Morone saxatilis) in hard water at temperatures of 13 deg, 18 and 23 deg C. The recommended concentrations for sedation (reduced reaction to external stimuli without loss equilibrium) 300- 1,500-g are 40 mg/L MS-222, 25 benzocaine, 5 quinaldine, quinaldine sulfate, 0.5 metomidate. lowest effective immobilization (defined as anesthesia within 3 min recovery 10 after a 15-min exposure) C, respectively, each anesthetic 150, 150 mg(L MS-222; 85-100, 70, 55 benzocaine; 40, 25, quinaldine; 55, sulfate; 7.5, 10,
