Efficacy of supplemental 1 alpha-hydroxycholecalciferol and microbial phytase for young pigs fed phosphorus- or amino acid-deficient corn-soybean meal diets.

摘要: Young pigs (5 wk of age and 8 kg) were used to test the efficacy lα-hydroxycholecalciferol (1α-OH D 3 )and microbial phytase for improving utilization phytate phosphorus (P) amino acids present in corn-soybean meal (SBM) diets. Phytase supplementation (1,200 units/kg) a vitamin -adequate, P-deficient corn-SBM diet elicited marked response (P <.05) weight gain ash content fibula, scapula, metatarsal bones, but dietary addition 1α-OH (20μg/kg) was without effect. A P- acid-deficient (15.5% CP) also supplemented with 1,200 units/kg evaluate acid utilization. Pigs gained faster ( P more efficiently when this limiting acids, increased gain, regardless whether deficient or adequate acids. Feed efficiency improved by not acid-adequate diet. fed low-CP, acid-fortified as fast those 19.5% CP (1.19% lysine) positive-control
