摘要: Sarcopenia and frailty are common geriatric syndromes associated with adverse health outcome impaired health-related quality of life. Co-occurrences these two age-related neurological diseases potentially high but not well investigated. Moreover, it is understood how interact diseases, such as Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease stroke. This article introduces the currently most accepted concepts sarcopenia frailty, discusses potential relevance for patients presents examples studies that investigated interactions between conditions. First results indicate (i) co-occurrence high, (ii) can influence clinical state to a relevant extent (iii) at least some causes pathophysiological processes confer In conclusion, profound knowledge about interaction sarcopenia, age-associated conditions available. Such would have an enormous improved therapy
