Obtaining alantolactone and isoalantolactone from Inula racemose Hook.f. by optimized supercritical fluid extraction

摘要: Abstract Inula racemose Hook.f. ( I . racemosa ) is a traditional herbal medicine with strong anti-fungal and anti-inflammation activity while alantolactone (AL) isoalantolactone (IAL) are the major active compounds of this plant. The aim paper was obtaining AL IAL from radix by supercritical fluid extraction (SFE) which optimized response surface methodology (RSM). Our results showed that, optimal conditions for maximum efficiency were as follows: pressure 20 MPa, temperature 50 °C, carbon dioxide (CO 2 flow rate 17.0 × 10 −5  kg/s time 40 min. Subsequently, an efficient freezing method developed purification in crude extract obtained SFE. After freezing, total content target greatly improved 30.7%. demonstrate that SFE coupled would be powerful technique
