摘要: Static and dynamic magnetic correlations in the geometrically frustrated pyrochlore antiferromagnet ${\mathrm{Y}}_{2}$M${\mathrm{o}}_{2}$${\mathrm{O}}_{7}$ have been studied using neutron scattering. The material is chemically ordered but displays a spin-freezing transition at ${T}_{g}\ensuremath{\sim}22.5\mathrm{K}$. We show that short range order develops below room temperature. Upon cooling two-spin correlation length never exceeds 5 \AA{}, yet spin fluctuation rate vanishes proportion to ${T\ensuremath{-}T}_{g}$. For $Tl{T}_{g}$ low energy fluctuations are replaced by static antiferromagnetic with frozen staggered magnetization $|〈\mathbf{S}〉|/S\ensuremath{\approx}0.67\left(2\right)$. Locally structure corresponds four sublattice ordering zero magnetization.
