摘要: Social isolation in rodents is the most well characterized animal model for early stressful experiences and their neurobehavioral consequences. The present study analyzed effects of social on expression calcium binding protein calbindin-D28k (CAD) dendritic arborization medial prefrontal cortex (mPFC) rat. Sprague-Dawley male rats were reared either under or conditions from 21 to 51 postnatal days. At end this period animals behaviorally evaluated open-field test, sacrificed, mPFC serial sections processed immunocytochemical labeling against CAD Golgi-Cox-Sholl staining. Isolated-reared exhibited a dramatic decrease number immunoreactive neurons significant atrophy layer II/III pyramidal cells association with reduced exploratory behavior.
